Cardio exercises burn muscle in addition to fat making your body burning less calories and you will continue to eat the same amount of food as you will need the excess of calories burned by cardio exercises.
After stopping working out you will have less muscle and fat but your appetite will be still high and you will start regaining fat . But this time the weight you will get will not be lean muscle but fat which will be burned harder as you will have lost your muscle calorie burners .
Muscle building through weight lifting and weight training will eventually turn you to a fat burning machine. Muscles work alone burning fat and boosting your metabolism just by sitting there .
So? What are you waiting for ?
Go and workout!

Resistance training will increas your metabolism and cause your body to burn fat more effectively. But it does not have to mean big bulky muscles. Don't be scared ladies, you do not have to look like Arnold. What you actually need is more efficient muscles. You want nice, tight, tone muscles in all the right places, right? That's all people mean when they talk about building muscles. And remember, being skinny without being fit does you no good,Get busy working out and you will get the healthy, shaapely body you desire.
I think cardio and weight training should be combined as part of a work out program. They both have benefits and in the end it comes down to what the individual is strying to achieve. Some people want to gain muscle so they'll do the appropriate weight training with less focus on cardio and some people want to lose muscle (fighters and actors do it all the time).

Too bad most “fit” people will likely throw up on minute #8. … Increase my training volume • Boost strength endurance …. like this one because, unlike most complexes, it uses dumbbells instead of a barbell, adding some cool variety. …
