When it comes to summertime, everyone’s favorite summertime treat seems to be ice cream. This can prove to be a big issue if you’re looking to get fit and stay that way. Ice cream is very high in calories. Therefore, if you want to satisfy your ice cream cravings this summer, you will have to find some low-calorie options.

The biggest thing you will have to learn in staying fit is portion control. With ice cream, you will have to do your best to stay under 200 calories. This can be difficult as many ice creams are very high in caloric content. It’s the butterfat and sugar that gives ice cream it’s high calorie count.

Luckily, there are frozen treats out there that have found a way to cut the calories. These frozen treats have cut the cream and have added thickeners that give the illusion of it containing the high content of cream. Low-fat frozen treats that are low in calories have also replaced the sugar with artificial sweeteners.

You have some different options when you are trying to choose a low-fat frozen treat that is also low in calories. You can find a low-fat, low-calorie ice cream. Breyers as well as Haagen Dazs offers some good choices of low-fat, low-calorie ice cream. They range in calories from 130 to 220 with only 5 grams of fat, which is much better than your regular ice cream. You can also try goat’s milk ice cream, which only contains around 160 calories and 6 grams of fat. Frozen yogurt is another option, which only contains 200 calories and 3 grams of fat. Lastly, you can also indulge in sorbet that only contains 100 calories and 0 grams of fat.

As you can see, you can still satisfy your craving for a sweet, frozen treat. There are several alternative options available to you. If you’re looking for the healthiest option, you should definitely give sorbet a try. It tastes good and has the least amount of calories and no fat content. You truly can’t go wrong.
