I have started seeing more vibrating platforms at various gyms and at my chiropractor's office, but I have never understood the benefit to their application. I have been focusing on circulating different aerobic exercise to avoid getting either burnt out on one machine or just getting bored. I am definitely interested in learning more about the vibrating platforms especially given my interest to further strength and tone different areas. Are there specific areas these machines tend to work better? (i.e. - "the ministeppers focus on strengthening the buttocks, thighs and hips").
